KSU CCSE Global Game Jam

Overview:
The Global Game Jam (GGJ) is the world’s largest game creation event, where tens of thousands of participants in over 100 countries gather for a 48-hour challenge to build a playable game based on a surprise global theme. ÈâÈ⴫ý’s College of Computing and Software Engineering (CCSE) proudly hosts an official GGJ site each January on the Marietta campus, welcoming students, alumni, and community developers.

Why It Matters:
This event is a celebration of innovation, teamwork, and creative problem-solving. Participants rapidly turn ideas into working games, all while collaborating across disciplines like programming, design, art, music, and narrative writing.
